As most hunters I have heard
and watched a lot of videos on Kansas whitetails. Being that
my passion is to hunt archery I knew it was important to get
hooked up with an outfitter that truly understands the
challenges of archery hunting whitetails and likewise shares
this same passion. My next objective was to find a very high
quality outfitter with excellent hunting grounds on private
leases. I felt if the accommodations were adequate and the
guides were responsible that would only be a plus. Well all
these desires and expectations were far exceeded by
Arrowhead.
My experience was extremely pleasant in every aspect.
Brian, Donovan and the guides are superb archery hunters and
they put their clients in excellent positions to have the
opportunity to harvest trophy mature whitetails. There is
lots excitement and anticipation at the lodge and quickly it
becomes a true hunting camp atmosphere with all the clients
pulling for each other even though we never met before this
trip. The accommodations were very comfortable, clean with
really good food.
Arrowhead has excellent hunting grounds which are perfect
for archery hunting with funnels and travel corridors. Their
stand placements were excellent with every detail taken into
account.
What impressed me most was the true effort put forth by
this outfitter. They worked from 4:00 AM to 10:00 PM to
ensure their clients had a very memorable, enjoyable, safe
and successful hunt.
When Brian and Donovan picked me up the morning I bagged my
buck they were as happy as I was. Hence their slogan "Come
as clients leave as friends".
I have been on numerous outfitted hunts and this one is
very special in many ways.

Brian & Donovan,
I am very blessed to get to hunt all over the country
taping shows for my Radio and TV programs. There is really
only one place I can say that I look forward to going every
year more than most and that is Arrowhead Wilderness
Outfitters. I have never seen anything like the places I get
to hunt for Turkey, Deer and Bear. I have taken several nice
birds with Donavan and Brian, plus I have a 146 inch average
on the 3 bucks I have taken the last 3 years! It has been 4
years since I first meet them, and I am 100% on my Turkey,
Deer archery hunting, and 3 for 4 on my Archery bear hunts!
You really do come as a Client and leave as a friend! Two
